“You can’t be a consultant without a clear niche”

.. is among the many phrases I’ve heard over the past few years. And whilst I’ve tried (and repeatedly failed) to ignore those comments, what I realised is that I never needed a niche, I needed a thread. 

After studying and working in sectors such as the Middle East, war, diplomacy, leadership, trade, NGO’s, human security, sustainable business, geo-economics and psychology, I wondered how I would ever find that ‘niche’. 

But as I helped interview Ukrainian scientists, studied fake news, hosted a podcast series on science in crisis and devised communication strategies for leadership coaches, I unknowingly stumbled across my thread, making sure the people who want to change the world are heard.

Fortunately, the world has no shortage of people who want to make the world better, what they need are tools, capacity and accountability to get themselves and their ideas out there.
